Different Ways to Navigate to Google Apps for Education Links

Since we began with Google Apps for Education (GAfE), we have instructed users to reach their desired apps by first going to their mail page. Some apps are easier to reach from the mail page than others and, if it's not mail that they want to use, there is some added overhead in clicking and waiting.
Suppose that you wanted to use Google Maps. You could...
  1. Open your browser.
  2. Type www.mmsd.org into the address bar and hit enter (or click your bookmark).
  3. Wait for the District home page to load.
  4. Click the Staff/Student Gmail button in the left sidebar.
  5. Sign into GAfE
  6. Wait for the mail page to load.
  7. Click More at the top left of the page.
  8. Click  Even more » on the dropdown.
  9. Find Maps on the crowded Google products page (you might have to scroll down)
  10. Click Maps
and you're signed in at the Maps home page.
OR you could...
  1. Open your browser.
  2. Click your bookmark for the Google Apps for Education Links page.
  3. Click Maps.
  4. Click Sign in at the top right of the Maps home page.
  5. Type in your email address (ignore the password) and click the Sign in button.
  6. Sign into GAfE
and you're signed in at the Maps home page.
